Originally from Winnipeg Manitoba, Canada, 32-year-old Scott Kemp has been actively involved in music for over half his life.  He has studied and played many different styles of music including jazz, folk, pop/rock, funk, blues and Latin music.  Scott graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor of Jazz Studies in Performance from Humber College in Toronto Ontario where he studied privately with Mike Downes, Pat Collins, and Don Thompson.  He has played with numerous musicians in a variety of different combinations at Music halls and jazz festivals across Canada, the USA, Europe, and Asia.  Scott is currently a busy freelance musician in Toronto teaching acoustic/electric bass/musical applications, and is the composer/leader of his own band.  To view all of Scott’s musical details, click here.
